I have fixed mine by loosening the clamp holding the covering, working the covering back toward the problem end, and wrapping the end with some stretchy plastic tape that sticks to itself. Once I worked the taped end under the clamp, I tightened it down. Ideally, you can create a slight ridge on the covering with tape, so the clamp can help prevent the cover from sliding out from under the covering. Also agree with others, if you can purchase a 90 degree adapter for the coach end, it really helps minimize the stress on the power cord, and its protective covering.
