Noticed on this trip that we are seeing trailers with multiple families in them. Can't imagine two couples with kids, dogs, etc in one unit...but there you have it. At winchester bay, the twenty something travel trailer next to us had grand parents, a couple and their two boys, and three dogs. Nice people, but really... Is this what is happening across the country...more people getting into rv'ing and loading them with people to see what it's all about? Very interesting development, if true. John
Hold on now, I wouldn't call it a "trend" in RV'ing to have more than one family in a coach.
Speaking for myself, we've invited our grown children along many times to enjoy a short trip with us and save some serious money by staying with us for a few night instead of a motel somewhere. Most times, we are alone
.
I would hate to think someone is misconstruing this weekend together with our kids and grandkids as some kind of "trend".
It's no different in my mind than having kids drop in on us in a brick and stick home and spend a few days. We appreciate the few days we get with our grandkids!
