The travertine stone I would like to do is probably a little heavy!
We have one that is your basic 4 1/4" wall tile with a stone look to it.
Put up with mastic, 1/4" grout joints and using the sanded colored caulk
instead of grout, just might be the way to go.
It wouldn't be as much weight as the travertine,
& with having a wider grout joint than normal with that tile
& using mastic & caulk, it should stay put very well
and give me that stone look that I want.
Hmmmm....time to bring home samples !
