the Sliding table mechanism

We were asked about the sliding mechanism on the dining table, by member H. John Kohl. He wante to know where the mechanism was to make the table slide.

Tried and tried to send message, but seems the internet and my message do not want to be good children tonight and so, cannot tell if Kohl ever got my answer

so, before I turn this bad child off for the evening, here is my response:

we have the free standing dinette table and free standing chairs.

YES, the table does have a slide thingy

stand at the end of the table, now, stand on your head

so, that you can look at the underside of the table,

about the middle of the table there is a mechanism that will allow the table top to slide back and forth.

when you travel, etc. you need to have this in the locked position.

we have not really used this function, but it is kinda nice to have it.

so, now the question, is, did you understand my feeble attempt at description???

if not, ask again>G>G>

Cheers, and Happy trails
