I hear there are now "wireless" cameras but I am pretty sure that has its own share of nuances - like worrying about receiver/transmitters and power for all these components.

Nevertheless the wiring sounds like it will be a lot of fish-tape threading and time which would be a lot cheaper than hiring a technician at $50-$75 per hour. After all, don't we just work for beer? Even if you got a good friend to help, the cost is some good tunes and a six-pack or two. But use caution, there's nothing like 3 hours of wiring done by a couple of beer drunks.
