Homeless folks live in cardboard boxes under bridges in Chicago, year around. Are those cardboard boxes approved, certified, or built for residential living? Of course not.....but they live in them anyway and survive. My point here is we shouldn't get hung up on a definition of an RV. If they started marketing them as residential structures some idiot would have a 8'x 39' basement dug, remove the axle/wheels from his Montana, and flop it down on top of the basement for his house. Then that same idiot would sue Keystone because his pipes froze. My 2014 will get some miles on it. It will always be in temps between 40 and 100 degrees, and I will do everything possible to keep up on all the maintenance. I honestly believe that it will last a long time using it this way full time as opposed to a part time user from Illinois who camps on weekends and then stores it in 20 below temps all winter.
