Another look on covers

We use an ADCO cover made of Tyvec and like it’s durability. We left our unit in Dallas one year and Atlanta this last year with no cover but under a roof. I can tell you when we remove the cover in the spring here in Minneapolis, the unit looks just like it did when we put it away. If the wax was good and it was clean, it still is waxed and clean. Under the roof, it came out pretty weathered. A cover lesson learned, is anything that can wear a hole in the Tyvec will with any wind movement. Year 2 we used noodle material on all gutter spouts and sharp body corners. It comes with a repair kit and ADCO makes a larger repair kit pretty cheap. We like ours.
