We also camped next to a TX guy in Cripple Creek who had the GMG, wonder if he was same guy. Ordered the Green Mountain Davy Crockett online last year and cannot fault it really. The book that comes with it is outstanding. Needs maintenance in order to perform well like anything else. Used at home (until I got a Rec Tec recently) and in camp for everything from salmon to ribs. I keep mine out of the weather for sure. Have a cheap/tiny propane grill too for when I am in a hurry.
