John and Donna ...
No need to hurry home. Weather is nasty up here. Cold north wind and lots of snow up on the escarpment. Less snow in the Niagara region but still definitely winter. We went to dinner at the Lake House in Jordan on Sunday. Requested a table with a view over the water. Sat there with a couple of our favourite summer "beverages" and pretended it was July! There are picnic tables and hockey rinks on the frozen fishing ponds at Fifty Point and about 2 feet of snow drifted into the site we will be occupying this summer. We are SO ready to retire! LOL
