You need a semi to that heavy of a camper. There, now someone said it. LOL.

Just for an example, one of my camping buddies just bought a new 2019 ford F-350 Diesel SRW crew cab long bed truck. The yellow door jamb sticker states a max payload of 3150 lbs.

The OP with a pin of 3200-4000lbs would be clearly over the max payload of most 1 ton diesel SRW trucks.

OP, do it right the first time and get a dually. They are hands down a more stable tow no matter how you look at it.
