Well worth doing

We purchased a 2010 Montana this summer and absolutely love it. I am very allergic to carpet, and so we have spent many weekends replacing it. We're almost done and so glad we did it. It's a lot of work to get all the the little carpet pieces pulled out from all the tight places, and you'll find carpet wrapped around all kinds of things and covering up all kinds of things. We used vinyl planking and it's floating. We used quarter-round for the moulding, and used flexible trim for the rounded wall in the bedroom. We put the vinyl planking in the slides as well, right up to the edge. We put a transition strip right next to where the slide starts. We are going to use a vinyl sheet on the edges of the slides in the kitchen and where the fireplace is. It's been quite a process, but it is so well worth it. I can now breathe in the camper, whereas before I would be struggling with allergies within a half-hour of being in the unit. We highly recommend doing this.
