The 5er carries a lot of weight over the elevated front section and some of that nearly directly over the pin. The gooseneck construction/implement trailer carries its weight behind the elevated front section. So the pin weight percentage of total weight is considerably different.
I agree, most gooseneck trailers I've towed were set up in the 15 - 20% of gross trailer weight on the pin. Most goosenecks don't have usable space over the neck like fifth wheels.
