Ours do fit around the table, but we did buy a long velcro strap to keep the in place. We put one at each end and two along the long side of the table. They are light and will move if not secured. The other alternative is to put them upside down on the sofa, ours came with straps to do that, but I prefer to keep them in the dining area.
