ctwebb, had same problem the day we pick up brand new 2011 Montana High Country 323RL. About half way home on 695 beltway in Md, hear a very pleasant chiming sound. To my dismay look down and read "trailer is disconnected." Now trying to work my way over to shoulder from center lane during rush hour
was not very fun considering no lights working on trailer. Once we had got stop on shoulder, check plug to find it had came slightly pulled on angle.
Pushed it back in and almost made all the home before happing again.

After a couple more time, I started making sure plug was all the way in, and flip part was over plug. then wrap with a strip on duct tape to prevent
from lifting off of plug. Have not heard that pleasant chiming sound since.

My new motto, "Duct tape don't hook up without it"
