We've had a Kipor for over 10 years that mirrors speedster100's story about reliability and the battery not being replaced till later on in ownership. It has always started up for me. What you do need to consider about units that are more or less categorized as
"off brand" is should you need it worked on ... who's going to do that and where and how easily are they going to source parts.
