We had Direct for almost twenty years but got tired of setting up tripods and fishing for signals. Because of this, we switched to DISH and bought the Tailgater. About five-ten minutes of messing around and boom...done. You can hear the Tailgater whirring as it searches for a satellite.
Of course, you need a clear sky for a signal and in the campgrounds of NH that's not always possible. But when we head south it's usually OK.
