Hummm. We have the 6.4L with 37K miles on it nearly all towing the heavy 3400. We have never had a problem of any kind. This is s heavy truck but we tow at 62/65mph and get 10/11 mpg on a average day
16/17 solo. Run faster and the MPG goes down the tubes. we are very happy with this 08 6.4L
I do not know what is the matter with this truck but it runs perfect and gets reasonable MPG.
when we had that latest flash on it last week the tech that test drove it said..His words..." this is s sweet running truck"
Was thinking of upgrading as we rarely keep a truck over 3 years but this one is a keeper.
