I believe the fresh water tank is behind the axle. At least that's where the drain is. Water in that tank will add to overall weight and on the axles but should reduce pinweight. You must not have much in the rig, yet. With 1/2 fresh water and all our gear ours weighs 14,620 with pinweight of 2,860, and 11,760 on the axles. The overall weight of the rig is 23,160 and that includes full diesel, both of us, and all gear including a full, heavy steel crossbed toolbox, hitch, etc.
