Just a thought. I too have a Samsung residential refer in my 2016 Montana. We're plagued with water build up on top and below crisper trays. Resolution was a $10 part that clips on to the thawing tubes behind panel inside unit. Installation was 10 minutes after 10 days fretting. Drain tube would freeze, not allowing water to drain. Installation of T shaped extension solved our problem
You can research on YouTube for water problems inside fridge. Most helpful.
May not be the problem, but thought I would drop my 2 cents in.
