Hi guys and gals,

We are home and hubby had the fuel filter replaced in Kinder, LA. A great young man at a garage said he could replace the filter without a problem. Hubby thought he would have to drive to Lake Charles to get the filter replaced. We had the filter replaced and had no problems pulling the rig home from Kinder LA.

Thanks for your input, we feel that the replacement of the fuel filter solved the problem. We had no towing problems coming home and had to stop four times going up. We will be replacing the fuel filter more often in the future as it does shut the truck down and prevents you pulling. Thank goodness we had the problems we did where we did, as we could have been in the middle of Houston between concrete barriers blocking traffic on a two lane highway.

We will be checking more information as to when is the best time to replace the fuel filter. A fried changes his himself, hopefully hubby will learn to change his own and carry one in the Monty.

Thanks again for info guys and gals.

Changing the filter did the trick.

God Bless you and yours,
Colleen
