Hi everyone. I've been a member here for a long time but when we sold our Montana and bought a Bounder I started going to www.irv2.com. This place is better! I got tired of the general crankiness over there.

OK, I've already confessed that I am a SOB, but I still miss my Montana. If you're thinking of going to a motorhome my advice is to be very careful and read everything you can before you buy. The failure rates are astounding and the quality issues of even the high end coaches are horrible. Would you want to pay $350K for an RV that spends 3/4 of it's first year in the shop? (True story)

Amazingly enough, we've had several trips in 3 years where everything worked and nothing broke.

But as they say, happy wife, happy home.

So don't be upset if you see this SOB lurking around a bit. I've become pretty expert at making Norcold refrigerators work very well so perhaps I have something worthwhile to add here.
