Glad I discovered this topic. Recently I opened area behind our "Convenience Center" and saw this "bladder thing" attached at shower outlet. Now I know what it is. Our unit is 2009 2980RL so I am thinking lots of bladders and potential problems are out there.
Can this thing be removed and replaced with pipe? Besides odor what good is it? Just do like what I am reading with problems. Looks as if I could encounter a problem at the the most inconvenient time.
