I had a sack of sugar and a sack of flour on this shelf while traveling before Christmas. Here is the outcome. Has anyone reinforced their shelf with screws? I am going to look at this in a couple of weeks but starting to rethink all of hte shelf reinforcement. A flimsy little braid is not going to keep a shelf in the kitchen secure when traveling with groceries stocked.
