I presume that this is the much-hated Remote Thermostat? You could take a look at the thread called "remote thermostat", or just save yourself a lot of time and ask you dealer to order the "Dometic Comfort Control Center" to replace it. Dometic know that there is a problem with the remote, and have been changing them on request from dealers. The replacement includes a wall thermostat and a new control board, so whatever is causing your current specific problem, the replacement should eliminate it.
