I know the 6.4 has the reputation of poor MPG..However.. we are towing a GCVW of @23,000 lbs and get a solid 10mpg on any given day actually more like 10.3 to 10.7. I do not think that is bad at all.. The lighter trucks do better and the newer trucks do better. This truck is strong.. I use it to pull stumps.
