No mods here as well. We do have a tuner capable of different levels of performance but only use as a display for EGT and other vital temps.
The dealer tells me that the truck can go into regen anywhere between 100 to 500 miles and that the brand of fuel used can influence it. I suppose that could be part of my problem.
Something else to consider on the 08 is extending the power train warranty in the event you do have engine trouble. I haven’t confirmed this but was told they have to raise the cab off the chassis to access the turbos which are located towards the back of the engine! Sounds like it could be very expensive.
