You have more control when you are putting your slides out when using the remote as you will be right there watching your slide ensuring you never hit anything.
Same for putting out the landing legs. If the ground is not level you can easily make sure you have enough blocking under a leg without having go back and forth to the stationery control to ensure the trailer goes up level with no frame torque. The rear stabilizers are also easier as you are right there instead of at the front.
Putting the awning in and out is also another benefit.
I would never go without one.

I second that opinion. Use mine every trip for the same reasons.
My 'board" is above the batteries on the bulkhead. There is a Blue or Red button on the board. Press it and then quickly press the bottom center button or maybe the one above it and you will be connected.
