Seems to me that 'back in the old days' when somebody needed help, it came from family, fellow Americans, neighbors, the church and similar places. Now it all comes from one of our many government hand out programs that have run amok. A town near us came out with a new meal program. It started as underpriviledged school breakfast, went to breakfast and lunch, went to include summer breakfast, then to include summer breakfast and lunch. The new program allows ANY PERSON, under 18, to eat breakfast and lunch...totally free.
