I agree with Bob to try to make the adjustment at the hitch, but if push came to shove, I don't think dropping the pin box 2" will add much additional stress to the frame. But I will worry about frame flex due to some of the horror stories on the forum. That's one reason I'm spending the extra $$ on the Hensley hitch.
