The UHMW strips I’ve used are installed underneath from end to end give coverage over the torn Darco I had at both outer edges..

My slides are all hydrauilc thru the frame with no rollers..wear bars instead..are what the slide bottoms ride onto except the BR hydraulic slide..it uses a cradle mount

The UHMW strips could be used.. IMO on electric slides with rollers.. a bevel on the leading edge of the UHMW strip would make the transition onto the roller smoother..

Or… I don’t see why you couldn’t slightly lift the slide and install the UHMW strip onto the roller and secure to bottom so that slide is always on the UHMW strip

I don’t think this would affect motor drive issues if this was a Schwintek electric slide.

My repairs as shown in the video and PDF are on their second season of use..I have had zero issues with slide out motion during extend and retract and zero issues with the UHMW strips
