I bought the vent also.
We leave our Monty at a lake year round and we notice an odor when we first get there sometimes, mostly hot months. I too hate heights and my wife stays out there and watches just like Ricks.
I wonder if she really thinks she could catch me or maybe she just wants to see the bounce.
Anyway, all I need to take up there is the kit, screw driver & cordless drill & bits? Some kind of Glue & sand paper? I have to bring some stuff from home, thats why the question.
