I don't know about pin box but the kingpin stabilizer it sure helps. We bought the one from CW in Feb. 05.. I was amased at how much more stable our 3280rl became. I've seen the others but I still think the tripod version should be more stable since it is suported by 3 legs instead of 2. Don't know why I waited 4 yrs to get it.
