My experience is the same as Michelle. I wouldn't move them under any circumstances. They do look low, but I've scraped the frame in the rear going over ditches and uneven ground and have never even rubbed one of the pads on the ground. On the other hand we've stayed a whole winter when we had to raise one side till the wheels were hanging so I need mine as low as is reasonable.
