If your system is like mine, the surround sound speakers have to be calibrated using the microphone that plugs into the stereo. I had to move the mic closer to the tv so the back speakers would be louder instead of putting it in the center of the room. Followed the directions in the manual but had to tweek them to get more sound out of the back speakers.
