Actually the Feds do set a height limit, but it only applies to commercial traffic and not RVs. However, I certainly want to be as "short" as possible when traveling throughout the states. If you don't think there are that many low overpasses under 13'6" just pick up a Trucker's Atlas and start checking each state. You will be surprised at how many are out there.
