Jay & Betty (CORattler) -- found out exactly what you mean by camping closer -- we are planning on visiting my sister over Memorial Day weekend. Tried to get reservations in the two state parks close by and they are FULL. (Of course, right on the outskirts of Denver so to be expected -- can't get the wife to agree to traveling until the last minute -- this was a few 'minutes' earlier). Regardless, we are having to stay in a commercial campground that we were lucky enough to find with a cancellation. A lot of people around here also enjoying 'staycations' because of fuel prices.

Diesel here 4.09 at one station, 4.15 at another. On I-70 Junction City one station at 3.99, another at 4.19 and another at 4.15. The 3.99 is cash price, the others don't say specifically.
