So, I am into the planning stages for us to visit the forts -- probably next spring. Has anyone else done this? I expect to have to stay in a few commercial RV Parks if nearby state parks are not available.

We have been there for the reenactment and really enjoyed the visit. We were staying in Junction, TX at Junction North Llano River RV, which was okay for a few days.
