You might try testing a small spot with Old English wood furniture scratch cover conditioner. It works best on darker colors, but I have used it on many different types of surfaces pretty successful. It doesn't like plastic very much though. It just rubs right off. But, nothing lost by trying either except some elbow-grease rubbing it in.
