I just got off the phone with my Chevy Dealer. Talked to their tire specialist and here is what he said. From 245 to 265 you will get 20MM more surface on the road from the tire and it will be 1 inch higher. You will also gain 300lbs more carrying capacity per tire.

The tires will spin less. The Allison transmiission pumps by wheel revolutions, less revolutions less fluid being pumped, more heat buildup. With one size up, the speedometer error is minimal.

My rig and tv are very level, and I want to keep it that way. I don't want extra heat in the transmission so IMO there is no bang for the buck.

Just my 2 cents worth, Happy Camping!
