2007 GMC HD classics Duramax Allison 6 speed. 129K miles on her now.. Dino oil since day one...either Delo 400 or Rotella non synthetic...run Transynd in the Allison...
I change oil and filter twice a year since I typically drive less than 10K a year.. always fresh oil filter.. I change fuel filter once a year...I’d DIC indicates fuel filter due I reset One time without changing... I’ve never seen anything in the fuel filter to be concerned about
I also do not nor does Allison recommend dropping pan and changing internal filter...only the spin on...and absolutely no power flush allowed on mine...
YMMV but my 2007 LBZ is running fine, burns no oil, and has no issues.
