Other than putting a neon flashing sign with an arrow that says, "Beware of low ceiling," you'll probably just have to get used to it. Your DD has an advantage as she doesn't have senior amnesia! I've just about trained myself when making the bed to not hit my head. Unfortunately I seem to have senior amnesia.
