I owned a 2005 Ford F-250 SWR with the 6.0L Diesel engine for ten years. During that time I had 4 turbo system failures. All covered under the Ford extended warranty plan. After the 4th rebuild, the Ford service manager suggested I use a cetane booster such as Diesel Kleen. He said the poor diesel fuel we get here in California doesn’t burn well in Diesel engines and soots up the turbos. I started using it and never had an issue again. I’m also adding 8 oz to every tank fill up on my 2015 Ford SD. My 2 cents on fuel additives.
