I have been using the Camco KDF filters exclusively for years. It's only 20 micron filtration, but that's enough for safety of the lines in the rig. You can get then for less than $10 each in bulk, they're easy to use and last quite a long time compared to many other filter systems. I've researched other systems in the past year to find something I can mount in the rig, but honestly we never drink the water supplied by the CG and I travel with bottled water for drinking and cooking.
The KDF filters seem to do just fine and I can't justify a major expense for the few drops of water I might consume while showering or brushing my teeth. The main reason for the filter in my case is to protect the rig's plumbing and water heater from sediment and trash.
