One mod for AC I had to do on my '17 305RL was to pull the return grills and put 1 1/4" PVC pipe in to open up the return ducts that had closed substantially. Do believe the newer duct work has eliminated this issue.

The Second mod was to remove all AC vents and cut out every other blade to increase air flow and check for any other obstructions.
