Driving, I don't think you would notice much difference. Parking, probably not much either, maybe a bit of a difference backing and turning especially the swing of the coach behind the wheels. Our biggest observation is the availability of campsites large enough to accommodate us, but again, I don't think there would be much issue there 36'-vs-40'.
