We have one that I took back out to Joe and am trying to sell it. As far as stopping I can say that we would have wrecked if I didn't have the hitch on. I know for a fact that the tires did lock up on the hitch and did what it's suppose to do. We used it more for being able to haull our fourwheeler in the bed of the truck. We made two trips to West Yellowstone with it from So. Florida. Joe is trying to sell it for me because we are going to go with a MH and won't need it. He tore it down and repainted it, put some new upgrades on that were designed after we bought it. The tires do turn when you turn. Or you can leave them locked down and they just track.
