The earlier models used a 6 lug hub on the lighter weight trailers and 8 lug hub on the heavier weights - but changed in 2005 or 2006 to 8 lug hubs on all models.

Note: that the lighter trailers in pre-2005 show a 15" wheel and Load Range D tires - however Montana offered an upgrade option to 16" wheel and Load Range E tires - the trailer could have been delivered either way originally.
