Just finished installing our new Hunter and it only took a few minutes. I left the blue wire (hi spped fan) disconnected as I feel lo speed seems to do the job just fine. That plus Hi Speed is a whole lot noisier.
Is there a reason why I should run at Hi speed?

BTW-the part number is 42995B.
Glenn, running the AC in high humidity with low fan tends to ice up the AC unit on the DuoTherm units. This has been a DuoTherm 'feature' for years and years. Running on high speed seems to avoid that from our experiences and others' experience we've heard about. That's why we wired ours to run on high. Someday I'll put in the switch to allow both high and low but haven't seen much need so far.
