I would first contact Keystone and see what they suggest. If it sounds like a push off answer, you can go to an auto parts store and get a fiberglass fix kit and mix and fill the hole. Or get Bondo and resin and fill it that away. after hardened. sand down till flush, then paint color you want. I know this is not the optimal fix but it will work and should stop any spread of further cracking.

Not sure about topper, what is specific problem again.
