Thanks for the tips. For now I was able to apply some tape. But it's already come off due to humidity. I'll try some etabond tape. Fortunately, it's not we're the rollers make contact. Biggest concern, that the tape holds while slide is retracted so the broken plastic doesn't snag the edge when extending. Hope it keeps until September.
